About Me:
My Name is Raven Smith. I am a re-enrolled undergrad student from Chicago, IL studying Product Development, earning a business minor, and digital merchandising certificate. I am also the CEO/ Creative Director of my own clothing brand, Straight From the Go, All good things from Chicago. This is a brand I started at age 16, to dispel the belief that Chicago is a negative city. Here at the University of Missouri I serve as a TAM Mentor, Entrepreneurship FIG teacher, Student Buyer, and a member of the first black greek sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Design Philosophy:
I strive to be as close to perfect while still maintaining my creativity. I create high quality garments that separates the customer, from the crowd. I strive to be more open minded when it comes to my designs by not playing it safe and thinking outside of the box.
