Cultural Appreciation

This project allowed me the opportunity to learn about the history, origins, meaning, and symbology of the Albanian culture and its influences on textiles. Throughout this project I developed new textile prints and motifs from the information I found through my research. This project helped me understand the importance of appreciation when it comes to creative works of art, instead of appropriating and using other’s cultural influences for financial gain.
